Tuckernuck & Juliska Summer Tablescape 2024

Once again, it all started with a linen. Tuckernuck has introduced so many beautiful linens for tabletop under their own brand. This Sharp Floral Tablecloth is so chic, and I plan to use it for both summer and fall entertaining. The coordinated napkins can be found here, and the wipeable, reversible placemats with a coordinating pattern can be found here. I love the pattern and earth-tone colors, which inspired the rest of my tabletop selections.

In keeping with the earth tones from the tablecloth and napkins, I wanted to pull in darker accents like tortoiseshell as much as possible. Tuckernuck also offers their own brand in acrylic napkin rings, and the tortoise option is my favorite (though I do also love their malachite option found here). I’ve been waiting to use my new Juliska Puro Tortoiseshell Stemless Wine Glasses, which I paired with the timeless Juliska Chloe Stemmed White Wine Glasses, (that I’ve owned and used for years). Tuckernuck carries many of the Juliska tabletop items (linked throughout this post as well as at the end), so it acts as a one-stop-shop for everything you need to entertain in style. They even carry my favorite brand in tortoise-handle flatware, Sabre, which you can find here. The quality is excellent, and I’m thrilled to finally own these to use year-round.

For placemats/charger plates, I used these Juliska Provence Rattan Black Placemats that I’ve also owned for years. I wanted something natural to tie-in with the planter on the table (see below) but also something with color to help the plates stand out against the pattern of the tablecloth.

The new fabulous rattan planter that Lillian’s Floral Studio filled with the most beautiful organic-looking arrangment, is also from Juliska and can be found on the Tuckernuck website here. I plan to fill it with orchid plants to display inside my home year round. Also new to the Juliska tabletop collection are these Sitio Stripe Dinner and Salad Plates in Basil. I’m really into the color green right now, so these casual, but chic plates will be on regular rotation with meals in my home.

Last but not least, for additional lighting on the table, I included these brown cordless table lamps from Amazon. I do love a table lamp for outdoor dining as you don’t have to worry about wind blowing out candles or candle wax spilling onto your table linens. For place cards, I reused these pressed fern acrylic blocks that are customized with each guest’s name. I had some made for our immediate family members, which I keep in a drawer and pull out when we have family dinners. I love a “dress to the decor” moment when I shoot a table, so I wore a dark green knit polo from Tuckernuck, which you can find here (it comes in two other colors as well). Happy summer hosting friends!
