Crow Canyon Catalina Table 2024
The new desert rose colorway in Crow Canyon’s Catalina Collection inspired everything on this tablescape. I immediately gravitated to the colors, and while they might seem more appropriate for spring entertaining, I wanted to style them for an early fall dinner party. Thankfully, I already owned the perfect tablecloth and placemats to pair with my new dishware. The floral tablecloth is from Loulou La Dune and can be found here. To breakup the pattern on the plates and tablecloth, I used my solid embroidered wine-colored placemats and napkins that can be found here and here. Any tabletop piece that can be used year-round, is a hero in my book and worth the investment, and I’m excited to use these dishes on a regular basis.
While I typically use my enamelware when entertaining outdoors, I had no issues bringing it indoors to use on a more formal tablescape. Again, the colors are fabulous, and the products look like porcelain, so they worked well when mixed with my flatware and glassware included on the table. The Southern Living Natural Bone Flatware can be found here, which I also use year-round on my tables. The Rialto Salmon Tulip glasses can be found here, and I love that they add a brighter pop of color to the mix. To add some additional height to the table, I added in new candlesticks from CB2, which can be found here. The colored glass candlesticks worked perfectly with the rest of the colors on the table, and I love their modern design against the more traditional floral print on the tablecloth.
When trying to fill-in a tablescape, I often include items other than flowers. For this table, I used my favorite woven pumpkins in various heights from Hester & Cook that can be found here. These pumpkins are in constant rotation at my house, and the best part is that they never die- ha!
My favorite Nashville-based florist right now is Lillian’s Floral Studio. They NEVER cease to amaze me with their floral arrangements, and their designers always take my vision to the next level. I love that they included fall foliage with the florals, and the colors are breathtaking. I wanted to bring in more floral details, so I ordered custom pressed flower acrylic place cards from Etsy that can be found here. These are a unique option for place cards and make a great takeaway for your guests to keep or for you to reuse over and over (aka family gatherings where you entertain the same guests). You can choose the colors of the pressed flowers, and they will even write out your guests’ names if you provide a list.
I absolutely love how this table turned out, and I hope it inspires you to think outside the box when it comes to colors for your holiday/seasonal tables. All of the enamelware from Crow Canyon can be found below, and I highly recommend investing in a collection of your own!
